Since 2011, Altamira has been verified by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs’ Center for Verification and Evaluation as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.  This designation is bestowed only upon companies that have went through a rigorous evaluation period to ascertain that a company is managed and owned by a disabled American veteran.  Verifications are conducted every two years.  In the federal contracting marketplace, this classification can provide a competitive advantage.

Altamira is also classified by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services’ Bureau of Small Business Opportunities as a Service Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SDVE).
